Observations at Omega Observatory

Observation archive

The archive contains documented observations from Omega Observatory. Search by object, catalogue designation, or observed objects in a constellation and filter by object type, observing year or form of documentation. Switch between List and Map; the map provides an overview of the objects’ locations in the sky, and selecting an object shows its related observation reports.

Planetary nebula

M27 · Dumbbell Nebula

M27 was clearly visible without a filter; the Lumicon Oxygen III filter markedly increased contrast and made the dumbbell shape much more prominent.
