NGC 6743

A round to slightly oval and sparse cluster featuring an oblique stellar pattern and several pairs of stars.

Observation notes

The cluster appeared round to slightly irregularly oval, visually reminiscent of a very loosely concentrated globular cluster. There was no clear central concentration, and the stars seemed relatively sparsely distributed across the area.

A brighter star and two somewhat fainter stars formed part of an oblique rectangular pattern, giving the field a recognisable structure. The cluster also contained several appealing star pairs, which contributed to its character despite its sparse appearance.
